Assalamualaikum!

Lama rasanya tak update blog. Busy dengan kerja apa semua, lupa langsung pasal blog ni haaa.

Anyways, nak cerita sikit pasal produk Selsun ni. Selama ni I tak familiar langsung dengan jenama ni, sampailah satu hari tu I terkena seborrheic dermatitis. I kena kat sekitar hairline. Orang tengok pun macam aik, nape warna kulit kepala tak sama dengan kulit muka? Hahaha punya dahsyat nampak?

I beli sebotol ni pun dekat farmasi yang jual ubat bagai tu. Harga dalam RM20+ untuk 75 ml. Dekat belakang botol tu ada instruction cara nak pakai Selsun tu.

Cara I pakai?

Cara pertama: I lumurkan kat kepala yang dah dibasahkan, urut urut bagi sekata then tunggu dalam masa 3 ke 5 minit lepas tu bilas sampai bersih. I selalu buat dalam 2 kali seminggu.

Cara kedua: I ambek cotton bud, dip dalam solution tu pastu tepek kat infected areas masa tengah kering. Tepek lah selama 10 ke 15 minit lepas tu bilas.

Dalam masa sebulan dua tu, cara gini je lah I buat. Memang ambek masa sikit nak hilang. Bukan buat harini esok boleh hilang ye hahaha magik betul engkooo. I pun ambek masa sebulan lebih baru hilang. Baru lah nampak sekata warna kulit kepala dan muka hahaha! Kelemumur pun dah kurang weh.

Senang and cepat!

Medicine and I

Assalamualaikum.

I was not able to update this blog as I was pretty much loaded with works and stuffs. Speaking of stuffs, I was sick. Not dying kind of sick, but sick...sick.

I was infected by tinea versicolor. Like, really bad. I guess it happened around August but it got really bad when I started new semester in college last month. Simply put, my friends were sorta freaked out to see me like that. That's how bad the situation was. It happened around my forehead at the time. You can pretty much spot white patches on it. But really, I tried everything to get rid of it. From using medicine to traditional method using daun gelenggang to brutal method using dettol.

Daun gelenggang

I was devastated knowing that the medicine didn't work on me. I used to use the same med before and it worked fine. But this time around? No. So I switched to daun gelenggang or known as candle of bushes. It worked okay even though it was time consuming — you have to wash the leaves and mashed it using lesung batu and then patch it on where skin got infected. After some time, I ran out of it and man it was really hard to find that plant around here. So I moved on to another method which somehow I regretted using. I don't know whether it actually works fine or it's just me. I started off by using a brush soaked in dettol liquid and brush it gently on the infected areas. The infected areas got red afterwards. I wasn't sure whether my face couldn't take it or the liquid was trying to kill the bacteria. Whatever it was, I thought it was a crazy idea and so I stopped.

What happened next? A total nightmare. My face was — to my horror, dry really bad. Even though I was relief that tinea versicolor's gone for good, but this had unexpectedly ruined my face. I had a hard time washing my face as it sting and I couldn't properly put any makeup on as my skin peeled. It even sting when I put on my moisturizer. I was not bothered to go to the clinic at that time as I thought it wasn't that bad. I tried putting on Vaseline to soften my skin and it worked but not for long.

And so with a little bit chitchat with my parents and friends, I finally went to Pusat Kesihatan to get myself diagnosed (pft).

Or so they called. The doctor didn't even run a test or whatever, she just asked what happened, looked at my face in a glance and then prescribed the med. Fast work pft. I was hoping she could tell what my problem was zzz. But the med works! I was told to wash my face with aqueous cream and apply it again after cleansing my face with it. An ointment was also given for me to apply it at night.

After a week, my skin feels moisturized and the skin is not peeling anymore! Yay! But I'm a bit concerned with the uneven skin tone. Bercapok sana sini. I don't want to apply any more products on my face. No more, no more.

Problem finally solved!
